MITCHELL – Army Specialist Richard Anthony Zepeda, 21, passed away Monday, February 11, 2014, at Fort Drum, New York.

Born January 2, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Julio Lozano Zepeda, Jr. and Lisa Ann (Damiani) Arana. He married Shelli Lynn McIntyre.

He graduated from Mitchell High School in 2011, and attended the First Baptist Church and Bride of Christ Fellowship.

His brother, Julian Lozada, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Reggie Clark and Pastor Jerry Allen officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the church.

Momma Lisa I'm sorry I didn't make it my pos car can't go over 50 mph and I am done I'm telling u blood is blood but I sit in the dark all day long balling on my birthday the day of the viewing and I'm hours away no way I will see em again....and my other brother and best friend in the whole world is in jail and just lost another brother and I'm praying as hard as I can that he finds a way to live day to day... and I'm telling u if someone says sumthin to him and kick him while he is down... I promise.... well.. u will have to visit 2 inmates
