For me, she was always Aunt Bernice, by marriage, but she always made me feel special. I loved all her stories of the "old days" and how they did things back then. She was extremely special and loved by so many, and consequently, will be sorely missed. What a blessing for us all!

Jeanie and I are happy we got to visit with her earlier in the year and are saddened by her passing, but rejoice in the fact she is with God. What a wonderful lady. She will be missed.

Alan and family, I have so many wonderful memories of Berenice from an early age. She always kept all of us youngsters of Jacob Finger UMC in line in the nursery during church services, and Alan and I when she would sit for us at her house. She was truly a special woman and will be missed. God bless.

I was fortunate to stay the second semester of my freshman year of High School with Berenice and her husband. Her sister, my Mom was returning from overseas and while they located a place in the states I stayed with Berenice. This was a tough transition for me but with Berenice’s attentive nurturing she made this a pleasant time for me. Berenice will always be in my memories.
