When you saw Conrad and Betty no matter where you were you were always greeted with a smile a wave and sometimes whne my daughter was small , even a quarter or two if we were in the store. In the summer it was always a pleasure to do dishes as my kitchen window faced her beautiful flower garden . Many many hours she would spend on her irises and daylillies, just everywhere you looked from spring to fall always some color somewhere. It has been twenty years since she gave me a root of white iris and some daylilllies i still have them and they always make me smile.May you find strength in the memory of your mother and in it may you smile and sense her love .Sincerely, Julie Naugle next door neighbor

Brad,Deena, and family, I share my thoughts and prayers with your family at this time. I did not personally know "Grandma Conner' but I feel that I do know her thru Sara. May her memories give you comfort and peace.

Jon, Margie, and Heather, so sorry to hear of Grandma Betty's passing. I've only heard wonderful things about her. My favorite memory of Grandma Betty is going down to visit her in Mitchell when I was young, I think because dad was deer hunting. She wanted to give Heather and I a treat- frozen strawberries with brown sugar. Being a semi picky eater when I was young, I didn't like frozen strawberries (texture issue). So, Grandma Betty gave me a big bowl of brown sugar to eat with a spoon. I knew I liked her from then on!

Jon, Margie & Heather, So sorry for your loss. Betty was such an amazing lady! Gardening, sewing, baking, canning & mostly a loving wife, mom , grandma & friend. I know from you that she was happy to the end-that is important. She leaves good memories with us all. Love Steve & Jackie **I will continue to make grandma Betty's squash pie each Thanksgiving in her honor

Dear Jon, You were such a good son to your Mom, and that should be a comfort to you.Betty and I shared the joy of flower gardens and birds, you might have made a few houses for them. What I know of her life, I also see in you. She was just simply good, purposeful, and kind. What a role model to all those who called her their friend. Love, Sherry

So sad, so much of that disease in our family. But what a great life and a strong woman, raising all you Conner kids! When spending time with Jon, I can see parts of his mom all the time. She did well, and will be missed. Sincerely, Tommy O.

So very sorry. I know she's a Christian, and hope that helps ease your hurting. I can picture her right now, in paradise, with that big smile on her face, because she's herself again. I'll bet she had a big welcoming committee.
