I knew C.R. as Connie Miracle, the Manager/Supervisor over the staff, at Normandy Farms, who drove the big white farm truck, with the stake bed sides, who always seemed to be moving cows, calves, and sometimes bulls, to the different, farms located on Normandy Farms. He was my Father's Supervisor at Normandy Farms, (my Father's weekend job). Connie hired me, for my very first, real paying job, at the age of 12, taking care of straightening and cleaning up the farm's office, an hours work for $5.00, was huge, when people were making $1.00 something an hour, back then, and gasoline was 19 cents a gallon. Connie was such a nice person, and had a wonderful, and distinctive laugh. He always had on pressed jeans, and a great dress, straw cowboy hat. My Dad would take some of our prized organic, garden vegetables to Connie and Pat, and Connie would give us a tour of all of the new baby calves he had at his place, or let us swing in the great tire swing by the driveway. Our Family has many, many, great memories, from living on, and working at, Normandy Farms, and we have Connie and Tom Dunlap, to thank for giving us the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful life, that they shared with all of the family's who lived and worked there. Connie will be truly missed, as a generous, and kind person, with a great laugh. Thank-you for being part of our lives, and sharing such a wonderful place to grow up, with us. To the Miracle family, our thoughts and prayers are with you, and especially to Alex, one of our dear Normandy Farm Family friends.... Sincerely Jane Thompson (Taylor), and the Taylor Family.......I know God is with you, and Connie....

Jenni and I particularly enjoyed visiting with C.R. and his wonderful family at recent Stamper Family Reunions. He was always so gracious to us. My memories of C.R. are fond. He was the older cousin who, along with Robert, took the time to take his younger cousin hunting and riding in the Jeep at the farm outside of Mitchell. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts.

I so much miss my 'oldest cousin'! He has been a part of my life from my childhood, even though we saw each other seldom, because of distance. I will never forget the 'fun times' as well as his support and advice in my own cancer.

CR was a wonderful 1st cousin. I have many good memories of him, particularly in the big houses and ample farms where he lived when I was a youth. A wonderful person from a loving family!
