HURON – Connie Wayne Spires, 57, passed away at 1:17 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, at his residence after a battle with cancer.

Born April 13, 1958, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Robert and Dorothy (Mounce) Terrell.

He had been employed at U. S. Gypsum and recently with Gohman and Sons Construction working on Interstate 69.   He was a member of Laborers Union Local No.741.

His  brother, Donnie Spires, preceded him in death.
