MITCHELL – Donna Hackney, 55, Mitchell, passed away at 12:50 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at her residence. She went home to heaven to rest in peace; no more pain. She is finally in Gods hands.
Born January 16, 1952, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Walton) McPherson. She married Edmond Joe Hackney July 9, 1982.
She was formerly employed at Dana Corporation and was a member of Living Waters Church of God.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Joyce Mincoff officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
