MITCHELL – Donna Lee (McKinney) LaRocca, 71, passed away Thursday evening, December 15, 2016, at Paoli Health and Living Community.

Born August 26, 1945, in Indianapolis she was the daughter of Dr. Clair C. and Mary Elizabeth (LaShorne) McKinney.  She married Frank Decker and he preceded her in death in 2001.  Donna then married David Paul LaRocca January 3, 2003.

Donna graduated from Mitchell High School in 1963 and Indiana State University in 1967.  She taught high school English at Orleans and Dugger.  She had been employed at Mitchell Optical as a bookkeeper and was a member of Old Union United Methodist Church.    In retirement, Donna was an avid reader, and loved her animals and her home.  She did a lot of cross stitching and volunteered at White River Humane Society.  She was a very sweet, kind lady.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Her granddaughter sang at the private family gathering.  Cremation was chosen and entombment was in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
