MITCHELL Dorothy Helen Tanksley, 87, Mitchell, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2008, at White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born January 21, 1921, in Leipsic, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Margaret (Trinkle) Ingram. She married Robert Eugene Tanksley February 21, 1939, and he preceded her in death November 27, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Her parents; husband; brothers, Granville, Jimmy, Claude, Clyde, and Vance Ingram; and granddaughter, Leslie, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Mikulsky officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
