BEDFORD – Edwin Lee Sheeks, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born February 28, 1928, in Lawrence County, he was the son of David L. and Lena Gertrude (Parker) Sheeks. He married Marguerite Mary Banbille February 9, 1950, and she preceded him in death November 5, 2011.
Edwin retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

His parents and wife preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, at Haverly Funeral Chapel.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral chapel.
Private burial will be at Sheeks Cemetery.
