MITCHELL Esther B. McKamey, 86, Mitchell, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 8, 1925, in Bono Township, she was the daughter of Carl Leroy and Flossie G. (Hunsucker) Talbott. She married Kenneth A. McKamey September 2, 1950, and he preceded her in death January 1, 2011.
She retired from RCA in 1981 with 34 years of service and was a former member of the City of Bloomington Advisory Board. Esther resided with and assisted Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Hamilton in their home during her high school years, enabling her to graduate in 1946 from Mitchell High School. She was a member of the Unionville Church of Christ.

Her parents; husband; sisters, Lucille Blackwell, Bonnie Chestnut, Fern E. Talbott, and Jean Mishler; brother, Raleigh Leroy Talbott and twin brother, Chester Talbott, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Mickey Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Talbott Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
