ELLETTSVILLE – George Jasper Cooper, 66, passed away at 10:46 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born June 15, 1946, in Michigan City, Indiana, he was the son of Henry Curtis and Olive Permelia (Fross) Cooper.
George was employed at J&S Locksmith.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Gillen Post No. 33 and the VFW Post.

His parents; and son, Charles Lee Cooper, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at the Sheeks Cemetery in Mitchell.
