MITCHELL – Gerald Dean “Jerry” Bundy, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 6, 1938, in Mitchell, he was the son of Millie Jacob and Ethel (Ramey) Bundy. He married Carolyn Sue Bell June 23, 1960.
Jerry was a bus driver for the Mitchell Community Schools and retired after 33 years. He was a bus driver for the City of Mitchell, owner of Bundy’s Auto Detail Shop, and was a member of Rivers Edge Fellowship.

His parents; daughter, Tammy Sue Smale; and siblings, Stanley Bundy, Mervin Bundy, Jack Bundy, Robert Bundy, Junior Bundy, Marie Gilbert, Linda Sue McCain, Wanda Jones, Betty Bundy, and Ruby Bundy, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Mitchell with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
