MITCHELL – Harry Edward Mann, 69, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born January 22, 1947, in Bedford, he was the son of Harry Addison “Tuck” and Sarah Gail (Crown) Mann.

He was a retired farmer, a 1965 graduate of Mitchell High School, and a member of Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club.

Eddie was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of American Legion Post No. 250, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

His parents; and siblings, Frederick Lee Mann, Arthur Mann, and Nancy K. Cox, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating.  Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date in Hamer Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
