BEDFORD – Henry E. Beavers, 74, passed away at 9:27 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at his residence.

Born April 15, 1941, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Thurman and Juanita (Robbins) Beavers.  He married Marlene E. Terrell, June 13, 1966.

Henry was a farmer and a member of White River Baptist Church.

 His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 8, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Bob Bierbaum and Reverend Dwight Dunbar officiating.  Burial will be in Dixon Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.

    I did not know Henry well, but when I did see him at the rare family event, usually a funeral, I remember him as a a happy friendly cousin that reminded me of my Dad when he was in his overalls.
