WILLIAMS – Hubert Albert Asbery, 73, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born April 8, 1943, in Burgin, Kentucky, he was the son of Charlie E. Asbery and Lillian (Selch) Reed.  He married Linda K. Mundy December 31, 1963, and she preceded him in death August 26, 2010.

Hubert was the assistant maintenance director at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and a farmer. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club and Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 654.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Jim Russell officiating.  Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
