MITCHELL – Hubert B. “Hubie” Terrell, 89, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his residence.

Born March 22, 1927, in Washington County, Kentucky, he was the son of Clarence and Effie (Terrell) Terrell. 

He was a self-employed heating and air conditioning contractor, and also a farmer.  For 22 years he was owner and operator of the Boogie Barn.

Hubie was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post No. 250.

Dorothy (Ronald) Mountcastle of Mitchell

20 great  grandchildren
10 great  great grandchildren

His parents and siblings, Dorothy Davis, R. C. Terrell, Barney Terrell, J. B. Terrell, Lucy Terrell, Daphner Terrell, and Nancy Elaine Chastain, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Jerry Richardson officiating..  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
