MITCHELL – James Michael Beasley, 66, passed away at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born Born March 23, 1947, in Bedford, he was the son of Theodore “Ted” and Jewell (Humphreys) Beasley. He married Teresa Fleenor July 7, 2000.
Jim had been employed at Carpenter Body Works and was a 1965 graduate of Mitchell High School.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of American Legion Post No. 250.

His parents and brother, David Matlock, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, in Mitchell Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Dunbar officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
A celebration of life service will follow at American Legion Post No. 250.
