MITCHELL – James Robert Erdle, Jr., 68, passed away Tuesday evening, June 21, 2016, at his residence.
Born January 7, 1948, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was the son of James Robert and Evelyn (Townsend) Erdle, Sr. He married Sharon Lee Thompson October 26, 1974.
He graduated from Bedford High School in 1966 and his hobby was shortwave radios.
James was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post No. 250.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107
