MITCHELL – James Wesley Grace, Sr., 81, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born February 14, 1936, in Lee County, Virginia, he was the son of Roy and Lola (Babb) Grace. His first marriage was to Effie Cheek on February 19, 1962, and she preceded him in death in April of 2000. He married Margaret Taylor March 30, 2001.
He was a hod carrier for Hatfield and Kellams. James attended the Living Water Church of God. He loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and was an avid motorcycle rider.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, at Dive Cemetery with Reverend Paul Hare officiating.
Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
