Gene was my Great Grandpa and I miss him dearly. He was a big part of our family and loosing him was hard far all of us. I know he is in a better place now and I know he is no longer suffering. He is free from all pain that he ever had. And is walking through the kingdom of heaven with God. I miss him a lot. And can't wait for the day I get to see him again.

Sorry to hear about Gene, I met him when he worked with my father, John W. (Bill) Fish at G.M. They would go to lunch together at Clark's on 3rd street and I would meet both of them there daily for lunch. I admired and had respect for Gene. John Fish

We all came together at our family reunion last August 2014 at Kim and Kim Medskers in Indiana. Knowing this would be the last time all of us would be together, it was a special moment. I flew in from Maine My Aunt Christel asking Gene over and over what he wanted to eat for breakfast and Aunt Beth deciding what to eat . Gene's brother Ray, sat listening to all of this with a smile. I will treasure that moment for ever. With all the photos taken and Genes cousin Polly sitting right next to Gene and Ray. Their parents I am sure were looking down smiling Gram and Aunt Ann. We have lost Roxanne Gilbert, Joe Poliquin and Judy Hinkle. Treasure the moments, and take tons of pictures because moment are all we have as we get older. It is ashamed we do not know that until we get older. Love to all Toni
