MITCHELL – L. Sue McMahon, 81, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born August 1, 1935, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clarence Lovell “Buck” and Mary Hulda (Brooks) Rosenberger.

Sue had been employed 23 years in food service and was a 1953 graduate of Mitchell High School.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Watson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

    She was my Grandmother. She was always warm and loving to my and my younger brother. I'm thankful she gave birth to my loving Mother. I have nothing bad to say about her. I still miss her. May she rest in peace!
