MITCHELL – Laura Ann Crawford, 88, passed away at 3:14 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at Medco Health and Rehabilitation in French Lick.
Born May 26, 1926, in Saltillo, she was the daughter of Leland Elbert and Martha (Hayes) Smith. She married Allen Elliott and her second marriage was to Winfred H. Crawford September 6, 1979. He preceded her in death January 16, 2000.
Laura Ann was a homemaker and a member of Saltillo Christian Church.

Her parents; son, Edward Leland Elliott; and siblings, Wilbur Smith, Rowena Freed, and Richard Smith, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 p. m. Sunday, April 19, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Eric Kersey officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:00 p. m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
