BEDFORD – Margaret Ann Peyton, 81, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018, at her residence.

Born July 11, 1936, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of James Willis and Effie Belle (Cogswell) Lindsey.  She married Ronald Charles Peyton July 26, 1975, and he preceded her in death November 30, 2001.

Margaret retired from General Motors and was a member of U.A.W. Local No. 440.

She enjoyed camping, traveling, and collecting antiques.

Jerri Lynn (Glen) Baker of Mitchell

Kenny Parsons of French Lick
3 grandsons
1 great grandson

Her mother, Effie Belle Brim; father; husband; siblings, Junalee Dorsett, James Lindsey, and Harold Lindsey; and granddaughter, Natalie Moldrem, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Dr. Robert C. Courson officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
