MITCHELL – Marilyn K. Ray, 65, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at her residence.

Born December 17, 1947, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Hugh and Addie (Walton) Van Hoy.  She married Gene Ray December 26, 1965.

Marilyn was a secretary for Van Hoy Heating and Cooling and was a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship.

                            son, Michael Ray, Bedford
                    daughter, Genia (Brent) Mitchell, Mitchell
             grandchildren, Tanner Ray, Blaine Johnson,  Allison Anderson, and
                               
    Lex Mitchell
                     brothers, Bob Van Hoy, Mitchell
                                   Rick Van Hoy, Mitchell
                         sister, Alice Isom, Mitchell                   

Her parents; and brother, Michael Van Hoy, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Mitchell Cemetery with Bro. Greg Isom officiating.   A meal will be served at the Mitchell Community Building following the service.

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
