SALEM – Mary Ellen (Rosenbaum) Bartlett, 103, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Born November 17, 1913, in Fort Ritner, she was the daughter of Charles Gilbert and Alice (Jean) Rosenbaum.  She married Kemery Bartlett August 31, 1943, and he preceded her in death April 8, 1988.

Mary had been employed as manager at the Kroger Company and was also secretary-treasurer of Standard Oil Company.  She graduated from Tunnelton High School and was a member of Sugar Creek Christian Church and American Legion Post No. 250 Auxiliary.  She enjoyed playing cards and living in Florida.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Her parents; husband; and siblings, Ray Rosenbaum, Ralph Rosenbaum,  Flora Lee, Inez Crane, Lizzie Guthrie, and infant Leon Rosenbaum, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Nelson Lee officiating.  Entombment will be in Cresthaven Mausoleum on Monday, March 20.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
