Mark: I remember you and Myra in school (so long ago!) and you were a grade or so behind me and Myra was a grade or two ahead of me. I actually got to know Myra when she worked at Hospitality House & I did some volunteer work there. And yet later when I worked at a communications company in Bloomington and we did work on the two-way radio that Myra had in her work car. Myra was a sweet lady and so funny! I always enjoyed chatting and sharing a laugh with her. She was a real special lady in all ways. Very sorry for your loss.

Mark, I was very sorry to hear about Myra. Our family thought a lot of Myra and you. Dad loved working with her at Older Americans and hated it when she left. He loved teasing her. I hope you all find comfort in knowing how many lives Myra touched. Take care.

Myra was one of my "big cousins from the farm". Since this gal here was born & raised in the big city, Myra taught a lot about the animals & the farm life. She told me the true stories with me being able to understand them unlike her brother, Mark that would make fun of me. One of my favorite recollections was when she put me up on "old Billie" & lead me around with the reins. I think I was 4! She was gentle and kind to people and animals alike. I was glad that I got to spend time with her while she was in the hospital. We reminisced of old times to pass time. I am glad I could be there for her & help get her mind off of things even for just a few minutes. I will truly miss her. She is safe in God's hands now! No more suffering.
