 MITCHELL – Naomi Maxine Geary, 87, passed away at 4:24 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born March 17, 1928, in Tipton, she was the daughter of Sean Ray and Gertrude (Spaulding) Austill.  She married Charles Walter Geary in 1971, and he preceded her in death March 19, 1980.

She had been employed in hospital food service and was a graduate of Tipton High School.  Naomi was a member of the Mitchell Wesleyan Church.

                                        P. Edward Geary, Mitchell

                                        Brent W. (Carla) Geary, Florida
                                        Brenda (Dana) Dunbar, Mitchell
                                        22 grandchildren
                                        32 great grandchildren
 14 great great grandchildren

 Her parents; husband; children, Mary G. Box, Melody R. Henderson, and James K. Zearbaugh; and siblings, Edna Zearbaugh, Opal McComb, Virgil McComb, and Dallas Austill, preceded her in death.

 Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Mitchell Wesleyan Church with Reverend Steve Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.

 Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center, and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the church.
