MITCHELL – Nelva Denise Sergent , 64, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at her home following an extended illness.
Born June 1, 1952, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Lloyd C. and Rose Ella (King) Middleton. She married Vernon Darrell Sergent September 4, 1970, and he preceded her in death November 11, 2007.
Nelva was a homemaker and a 1970 graduate of Mitchell High School.

9 grandchildren
5 great grandchildren and two more due later this year

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date in Port William Cemetery.
