I am so sorry for your loss. I loved her as my 4th grade teacher. She taught me so much. My knuckles were hit a few times as was most of the class! She was a legend and will always be remembered as a great person.

Well, I am very sorry to hear about your passing. I wouldn't be surprised if you were up there visiting with Mom, and catching her up on all the goings-on back here in this "veil". Goodbye. You'll be missed

Although I had many red knuckles while in her class, I had the utmost respect for her. She was a great educator. Not only was she teaching the 4th grade curriculum but very important life lessons. I will forever be indebted to her. RIP Mrs. McAlister. (I hope my spelling, grammar, and punctuation here would make her proud)

Mrs. McAlister was my teacher for fourth grade, which was my first year at Tunnelton. She was one of my favorite teachers! I still have my yearbook from 6th grade in which she wrote that she hoped to vote for me for President someday. I don't have political aspirations but that thought always encouraged me to aim high. She was such an inspiration! I also got to work under her a few times as a substitute teacher when she was the principal at Lincoln. This world has lost a treasure! Can't wait to see her again in heaven!
