CAMPBELLSBURG – Rex William “Rexy” Pruett, 14, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Born January 9, 2004, in Bloomington, he was the son of Rex Earl and Jessica Lee (Hubbard) Pruett.

Rex was in the seventh grade at Orleans Junior High School.  He enjoyed video games, shooting, swimming, and working outside with the family.  He was vivacious and loved riding four wheelers and being outdoors with friends.  Rex was a member of Lost River Missionary Baptist Church, and the Salem Full Gospel Outreach.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, at Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Johnny Henderson and Caleb Tolliver officiating.  Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
