MITCHELL – Rick Dean King, 53, passed away at 2:05 p.m. at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospice House.
Born January 21, 1961, in Bedford, he was the son of Roger and Evelyn (Passmore) King.
He was a welder and mechanic and a 1979 graduate of Mitchell High School. Rick attended North Lawrence Vocational School and was a professional painter. He loved to spend time with his daughter and granddaughters. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Rick was inducted into the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame.

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
