CAMPBELLSBURG Ruth E. Brown, 86, Campbellsburg, passed away at 5:07 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born January 26, 1924, in Prowsville, she was the daughter of Harry and Eva (Diehl) Wesner. She married Lester Bud Brown January 29, 1949, and he preceded her in death May 10, 1991.
Ruth graduated from Salem High School in 1942 and Indiana University in 1948. She was a retired teacher and had taught at Tunnelton, Deputy, Campbellsburg, and West Washington schools. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Indiana Retired Teachers Association, and Salem Alumni Association.

Her parents; husband; and brother, Robert Wesner, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Don Mahan officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
