Born September 18, 1948, in Lackey, Kentucky, he was the son of Joe and Alta (Mullins) Slone.  He married Betty Elkins on August 21, 1970, in Bedford, Indiana.

My condolences to the Family. He will be missed by all who knew him. We go back over 50 years and even though we didn't see each other often we still had fond memories of the 60's. I apologize for not being there but at the last moment I could not get off work.
