Sorry to hear about Tommy's passing.. I remember going to the farm with my parents (Doc & Mildred Fortner) as a young girl to visit with Noble & Olive & Tommy, Alma and the rest of the family. My mother (Mildred Smith Fortner) and aunt (Maudie Smith Granecki) always had stories to tell of all their cousins and the good times they all had together. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Smith family.

Tim and Betty Anne, Keith and Donna, Justin and Alex - it is sad to say goodbye to this fine man who devoted his years to caring for Grandma and was such a dear grandfather to you kids. We loved your stories of trips to the farm, the farm auction, gardening, the country life, grandma's cooking… that will always be part of you, and I know we'll continue to re-tell those stories and Tom will feature large in all our memories of family life. We are so sorry for your loss.
