Justin, I don't have the words to describe how truly sorry I am for you and everyone.who loved Dean! He was truly a dad to be proud of. When a preacher says they are going to heaven, sometimes it is to make the family feel better, but I know for a fact where Dean is and that you are assured! He was definitely a fine man! I will be praying for you and your family!!! Sorry that I never got to really know you, but all of my family and friends loved Dean. Never wonder, he is flying high!!!!

Dean, Jim & Jeff T., and Amel R. used to ride around Mitchell together in the mid-late 70's. Very calm and very soft spoken. We went every and any where. Dean usually had to go home early because of farming. Even though he snitched farm tractor gas most of the time, the four of us made MANY a run between Bedford and Mitchell in that Z28 he had at 140+mph on 2 line highway 37! He would say, " guys, how does 140 feel" and laugh! It felt like we were on a cloud as i recall. He was a great friend. Smart. Looking at the picture, i wish i had said hi to him cause i bet we had past by each other. God Bless him.

Me, Howard Wilcox and Dean running around together when we were all 16 years old, we had some real good times together! I also farmed next to Dean for 40 years. Will miss him very much.

Our deepest sympathies to all of you. We remember Dean as a young boy, brother to our beloved Rhea, wife of my brother, Dave. May you find comfort at this sad time.

I am so sorry to hear cousin Dean passed. I always enjoyed seeing him at our reunions. I remember visiting when they lived at the big house outside Lawrenceport, which has been very long ago. I miss his dad, he was a character. Hugs to family and his companion.
