MITCHELL – Alleen Marie (Pridemore) Recker, 90, passed away at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013, at IU Health Paoli Hospital.
Born April 19, 1923, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Thomas A. and Pearl (Pearson) Pridemore.
Alleen had been employed in retail sales and was a lifetime member of Tulip Street Christian Church.

Her parents; brothers, Ernest, Homer, Linza, and Glen Pridemore; and sisters, Lucille Pridemore and Adren Lou Bush, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Bro. David Conley and Bro. Donnie Conley officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
