MITCHELL – Amy Beth Brinkman, 55, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born June 28, 1963, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Clarence Roman and Rosemarie Mary (Strack) Raab. She married Douglas Richard Brinkman December 28, 1982.
Amy was a homemaker and had been employed at the Mitchell Community Schools and D&D Star Stop. She had been a Girl Scout leader for many years, and was a caregiver. Amy was her children’s biggest cheerleader. She was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Mitchell with Father Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Entombment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.
