MITCHELL – Anna Grace Watterson, 80, Mitchell, passed away at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2006, at her residence.
Born August 16, 1925, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Calvert) Curry. She married Robert O. Watterson December 21, 1941, and he preceded her in death October 29, 1984.
She managed the Mitchell License Branch for 10 years, was an Avon representative, delivered school buses for Carpenter Body Works, and since 1991 had been the receptionist for Head Start.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Lawrence County Republican Club. She was a former chairman and member of the Hoosier Uplands Board of Directors.

Her parents; husband; brothers: Henry, Bill, and Paul Curry, and Eddie Wayne Stamatis; and a granddaughter, Terri Lynn Watterson, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the church.
