SHOALS – Beverly Sue Sipes, 74, passed away Sunday, December 10, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born March 6, 1943, in Trinity Springs, she was the daughter of Herschel and Anna Melvina (Cox) Runyon. She was married to Larry W. Sipes, and he preceded her in death May 2001.

Beverly was a homemaker and a member of Dover Hill Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting and shopping.

    Sue was like a mother to me. She practically raised me. We used to watch Jeopardy and go shopping at thrift stores. I miss her so much. I'll never stop missing her.

    HADN'T SEEN SUE FOR AWHILE, BUT DIDN'T KNOW SHE HAD BEEN ILL. SHE AND I BOTH LIKE TO PLAY EUCHRE, AND USED TO PLAY AT THE VFW IN SHOALS! SHE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY ALL HER FRIENDS.
