MITCHELL – Bonnie Mae Conley, 90, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019, at StoneBridge Health Campus in Bedford.

Born March 14, 1929, in Orange County, she was the daughter of David H. and Nellie M. (Smith) Edwards.  She married Harrison Conley May 11, 1947, and he preceded her in death February 22, 2010.

Bonnie was a homemaker and loved to be outdoors and travel.  She was a member of the Mitchell Church of Christ and was a very caring and special person.

Her parents; husband; and siblings, Mary Summers, Emory Edwards, Raymond Edwards, Robert Edwards, Luther Edwards, Lloyd Sanders, Clyde Sanders, William Sanders, Raymond Sanders, Menlo Sanders, Hazel Smith, and Avis Flora, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, at the Mitchell Church of Christ with Brother Allen Burris officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Thursday at the church.

    Bonnie and my mom Wilma hall Chastain were best friends when they were girls. My mom lives in Florida now. She will be so sad to hear of Bonnie's death. So sorry for your loss.

    I remember Bonnie and Harrison quite well, Dad and mom,and Bonnie and Harrison were really good friends. We all were members of Mitchell Church of Christ. She will be missed very much by many.

    I'm so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. She was a beautiful lady. I always loved to see her flowers when I walked in the neighborhood. Her and Harrison had such a loving marriage it was an inspiration for many. May she rest in peace reunited with him in heaven. And may the family left behind find comfort in that.
