HURON – Carl Pruett, 70, Huron, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Friday, September 1, at Hospitality House, Bedford.
Born December 23, 1935, in Orange County, he was the son of Homer and Gertrude (Terrell) Pruett. He married Wanda Sue King February 2, 1965.
He had been employed at Extruded Alloys, Lawrence County Highway Department, and Mitchell Crushed Stone. He was a member of Bonds Chapel United Methodist Church and Tri County Antique Farm Machinery Associaton.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Martindale officiating. Burial will be in Bonds Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
