MITCHELL Carol Watson, 74, Mitchell, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at her residence.

Born December 23, 1936, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Jesse E. and Lillian Fay (Roberts) Pemberton. She married Bill Watson February 10, 1956.

She had been employed as a nurse technician at Bedford Regional Medical Center, and attended Mitchell Wesleyan Church. Carol loved her grandkids, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and shopping.

Her parents and infant brother, Gary Wayne Pemberton, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Jones officiating. Burial will be Lawrenceport Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:000-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Sheila & Barry, You have my deepest sympathy at the passing of Carol. I knew her from the Med Center and she lived across the street from my Aunt Blanche Bowden. Miss seeing you . We used to have some good talks at Hardees. God will see you through this difficult time.
