GUTHRIE, OKLAHOMA – Charles E. King, 86, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020, at 9:03 p.m. at his niece’s home in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Born August 28, 1933, in Mitchell, he was the son of Albert King, Sr. and Myrtle (Radcliff) King.
Charles retired from the U. S. Army and loved golf, races, and fishing with his father.

Mann of Guthrie, Oklahoma; nephews, James M. Tow, Sr. of Mitchell and Allen Albertson of Guthrie, Oklahoma; niece, Shirley Anderson of Bloomington; and great nephews, Jeremy W. Steele of Mitchell and Britain Holt of Mitchell, preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, at American Legion Post No. 250. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
A luncheon will follow at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
