 MITCHELL – Charlotte Ruth White, 86, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Paoli Health and Living Community.

Born December 31, 1931, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Paul Thomas and Eva (Miller) Mundy.  She married Harold White March 2, 1951, and he preceded her in death October 26, 2007.

Charlotte was an educational secretary 29 years at Mitchell Community Schools and a 1949 graduate of Huron High School.  She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Hillcrest Christian Church.  Charlotte enjoyed writing poems.

Matthew Shannondoah White, Jared Brandon White, Chad Michael White, Brooke Lea White, and Levi Dakota White

Her parents; husband; and brothers, Knofel Mundy and Nelson Mundy, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Charlie Scott and Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

    To the family; I am so sorry to read of Charlotte's passing, the family members listed bring back many memories. I would have liked to speak to Stephfan and Janelle.
