MITCHELL – Cheryl Ann King, 63, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2011, at her residence.
Born June 6, 1948, in Plainville, she was the daughter of Marjorie Reynolds. She married Merlin King October 21, 1983.
She had been employed at Naval Surface Warfare–Crane. Cheryl was a charter and lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107 Auxiliary and was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 250 Auxiliary. She attended the Bride of Christ Fellowship.

Her mother, Marjorie Bedeker; two sisters in infancy; and a stepdaughter, Evie Hill, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 31, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Allen and Bro. Ted Hawkins officiating. Entombment will be at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 11:30 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be conducted by the VFW Post No. 9107 Auxiliary at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
