MITCHELL – Daniel Dean Terry, 75, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born August 10, 1943, in Seymour, he was the son of Daniel Paul and Anna Louise (Woods) Terry.  He married Mary Ruth Cassidy on July 22, 2003.

Daniel retired from General Motors and was a member of UAW Local No. 440.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter, a member of Sugar Creek Sporting Clays and Hunting Preserve, and a former member of Tri-County Bass Anglers.  He had also been employed at Williams Security.

His parents and siblings, Barbara Pederson, Sandra Tolbert, Rita Palmer, Kenneth H. Terry, and Harold Dean Terry, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Bradley Conner officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
