WILLIAMS – Donald Gene Chambers, 73, Williams, passed away at 2:54 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at his residence.
Born January 21, 1933, in Smithville, he was the son of Raymond and Catherine (Burris) Chambers. He married Goldie Gardner November 4, 1994.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He retired from Ralph Rogers Group and was a member of Old Union Christian Church.

His parents; brothers, Monty Chambers, Jerry Joe Chambers, and twin, Ronald Chambers; sisters, Patty Nolin, and Janice Chambers; and a grandson, Damon Chambers, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
