MITCHELL Gail C. Parker, 67, Mitchell, passed away at 3:18 p.m. Thursday, September 28, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 10, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Frederick C. and Helen M. (Schmidt) Bigham. She married Ted Parker June 12, 1963.
She retired from Naval Surface Warfare CenterCrane in 1991.
She was a member of the Mitchell Presbyterian Church, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and has been associated with the Mitchell Girls Softball League since 1977.

Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 2, in the Mitchell Presbyterian Church with Pastor C. Allen Colwell and Brother Jerry Allen officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Monday at the church.
