CAMPBELLSBURG Harold Alexander Robbins, 55, Campbellsburg, passed away at 11:37 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.

Born November 22, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of A. Harold and Sharon Yvonne (Lewis) Robbins. He married MaryLou White August 31, 1974.

Harold was a member of the LDS Church English Ward. He retired from Blue Flame Propane.

He was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post No. 250 where he served four years as commander. He also proudly served in the Military Honor Guard. He was instrumental in starting the American Legion Post No. 250 Riders, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
