MITCHELL – Hazel Irene Moffatt, 87, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born November 18, 1930, in Indian Springs, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Creola (Waggoner) Cundiff. She married Lawrence Simmerman in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1970. Her second marriage was to Homer Moffatt in 1991 and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Hazel had been employed at Carpenter Body Works and was a member of Spice Valley Baptist Church.

Her parents; husbands; daughter, Sharon Summerlot; and siblings, Mabel Rentsch, Donald Martin, and Wilma Gee, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, at Trinity Springs Cemetery.
